Trump's Family Member Receives Professional Tips from Golf Legend Woods Before Professional Golf First Appearance

Emerging athlete preparing for major competition

The rising star has considerable online following

Kai Trump will have numerous high-profile backers as she starts her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be the granddaughter of Donald Trump, obtained a special exemption to participate at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, possesses several international courses and often matches against Kai.

"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we have tight competitions," she mentioned.

The golfer shared that Trump, who won't be present, counseled her: "Simply don't get nervous."

"He basically suggested to play and have fun," she continued.

"In my eyes, he's just an ordinary family member. He won't be there for the tournament. He's occupied with presidential duties, making him rather occupied."

As an amateur, Kai has participated in just three tournaments this year and holds the 461st position in AJGA listings.

But she can receive tips from golf legend, in a relationship with Kai's mother.

"He is the greatest golfer worldwide," Kai stated.

"Additionally, he's a more impressive human being. He advised me to compete, enjoy myself, following whatever happens."

Kai will face some of the biggest names in the sport at this tournament, including second-ranked the champion, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

Officials mentioned that Kai's presence helps introduce the sport to different demographics, particularly among youth audiences.

The social media influencer boasts millions of followers and has started a personal apparel and wellness brand.

The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
