Across the extremely contested realm of video games, it's usual for new contenders to fade away as quickly as they burst on to the stage.
Yet this new installment is aiming to alter that.
Here comes the most recent addition in a established combat FPS franchise frequently positioned as a grittier alternative to Call of Duty.
The title has not quite succeeded to equal its top opponent in aspects of revenue or user base, but indicators suggest the latest version could reduce the distance.

Their "feedback was explosively encouraging," comments the manager.
One more omitted ingredient from the last game was a story mode, which has been brought back in this version.

Regardless of reports that the scale of the title had put a strain on the various teams partnering across continents to create the project, Fas is upbeat about the work.
"Collaborating with diverse cultures, distinct heritages, it's a really interesting environment to be involved in on a regular basis," he explains.
"This entire approach has been something new but additionally really thrilling because we are partnering with people from around the globe."
As for the anticipation on the team, he comments: "We feel pressure but additionally it's thrilling.
"We're dealing with a major undertaking. It's probably the most significant that many of us have previously worked on."
